Description
The ActiveAid BCB (Bath Commode Bench) is a configurable bathing and toileting chair with seats that allow you to choose one of four directions for perineal access, along with multiple bench options to bridge tub walls.
The contoured seat features a cut-out that can be ordered with front, rear, or side opening and is available with molded foam or gel options. A solid seat is available for showering when bathing is the primary use. Independent, height-adjustable chair and bench legs help maintain a level seating surface in the shower or when bridging a tub ledge.
With configurable options for seats, armrest styles, back supports, secondary supports, and transfer bench styles, the BCB adapts to a wide range of user needs and bathroom layouts.

Benches
- Narrow and wide bench pads available with height-adjustable legs
- Tub-supported bench option for environments where permanent modifications are not possible
Backs
- Solid contoured foam back or sling back options available
- Sling back includes adjustable tension straps
- Horizontal rear crossbar included to stabilize back canes when ordered with sling back
Armrests
- Flip-up, height-adjustable armrests or 2-point locking armrests available (left or right)
- Can be configured with flip-up on one side and 2-point locking on the other
- Flip-up armrest brackets are height adjustable
Pans
- Commode pan system supports bedside use and over-toilet use
- Removable low-splash pan available when over-toilet use is not indicated
- Pan, cover, and hanger system with preset 3" (7 cm) drop
- Raised inner spine designed to help mitigate splashing
Handles
- Optional handles attach to back canes
- Two handle configurations: fixed push handle or fold-down push handle
- If no handles are selected, back canes are capped
Belts & Positioning Support
- Waist, trunk, and combination belt options available
- Bodypoint® belt options offered, including quick-release configurations
- Adjustable for safety and positioning needs
Base Stability
- Crutch-tip legs, suction cup legs, or mixed configurations available
- Suction cups provide added grip on smooth, non-porous surfaces
